Nintendo Magazine France is reporting, via twitter, that Epic Mickey 2 Power of Illusion is being made for the 3DS, and will be unveiled at an event next week.
The handheld Epic Mickey 2 will apparently contain some 2D stuff as well, presumably side scrolling gameplay portions like in the original game.
Epic Mickey 2 has been rumored for a while now, and is said to be being worked on by a very large team ~700, and to be a multi-platform title, with no word on which platforms until now. It would seem likely given it’s success on the Wii that there would be a WiiU version as well, perhaps now with some connectivity between it and the 3DS version.
